Net One Systems will provide a security management service and an educational program for enhancing operation and management of Quarantine Network by jointly developing with Trend micro.
Relative to the introduction of Cisco Network Admission Control (NAC) Version 2, the most advanced framework for quarantine network, Net One Systems Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Osamu Sawada; hereinafter Net One) will commence offering “Net One Security Management Service Package Vol.01” to enhance corporate PC security management and “Cisco NAC 2 Practical Quarantine Network Management/Operation Course”, an educational program for learning installation and operation skills, starting June 1, 2006.
Net One will support user companies and promote development of secure network environment through Cisco NAC Version 2 integration skills and providing service to enhance security management and engineer education program for ensuring operational compliance with security policies.
■ Management Service for enhancing PC security
While information leakages through computer viruses/worms infections have become a social issue, network security must urgently address outbreak prevention and companies have high anticipation of a new system, Cisco NAC Version 2 that dynamically addresses PCs with high risks of computer virus infections.
While supporting customers with implementation of the product, Net One realized that combining Cisco NAC and anti-virus services would strengthen PC security management of user companies.
“Net One Security Management Service Package Vol.01” that offers anti-virus consulting, monitoring, reporting and disaster recovery support has been created through integrating Net One Group’s monitoring knowledge acquired through management of Network Operation Center and Trend Micro Incorporated’s Expert Service. Grasping network security issues at PC level to offer appropriate solutions and performing countermeasure effectiveness are now possible through using “Net One Security Management Service Package Vol.01”.
■ Practical education program for supporting introduction and management of Cisco NAC
Until now, educational program for corporate engineers to acquire practical skills for introduction, operation and troubleshooting using Cisco NAC has not been offered.As flexibility in response to varying requirements of the companies including compliance with security policies and coordination with existing networks are required for Quarantine Network, installation and operation by users are critical issues.
In order to answer to the market needs, Net One and Trend Micro jointly developed “Cisco NAC 2 Practical Quarantine Network Management/Operation Course” to be offered at Network Academy, an engineer education institution.This is the first engineer education program addressing Cisco NAC Version 2 and offers training to provide solutions to problems likely to be faced on-site including quarantine network installation to existing network environments, product configuration reflecting security policy, and development of operational flow.
