Net One Systems Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Osamu Sawada) developed a Hybrid IP Centrex system capable of connecting IP-PBX (Private Branch Exchange) managed within a company and IP Telephony service※1 for enterprise users offered by Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation (hereinafter, NTT East.) Net One will commence sales from December 15th.
Hybrid IP Centrex is a new solution that capitalizes on advantages of NTT East's IP Telephony service for enterprise users and corporate managed IP-PBX to resolve numerous issues. NTT East's IP Telephony service for enterprise users curtails communication cost for outside telephone calls and corporate run IP-PBX allows flexible operational management. A dedicated MRG※2 (Media Relay Gateway) connects SkyIP-PBX※3 that configures IP interoffice telephone web and NTT East's bandwidth guaranteed Ethernet line. Corporate managed SkyIP-PBX realizes flexibility in managing interoffice telephone web and system enhancements, and usage of NTT East's IP Telephony service for enterprise users for outside calls allows for low telephone rates, migration to the new system using the existing 0AB〜J telephone numbers※4, and virtual interoffice telephone web integrating remote offices. Hybrid IP Centrex not only realizes further reduction of operational cost compared to using existing IP telephone systems, but it also realizes simple deployment of IP communication environment integrating voice and video.
