Net One Systems,
commences sales of CM-J20, a high performance cable modem supporting DOCSIS2.0
- Realize faster FTP/HTTP communication and next generation CATV services -

　From September 1, 2003, Net One Systems Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuo Sato) will commence sales of CM-J20, a DOCSIS2.0 supporting cable modem. DOCSIS2.0 is the next generation data communication specification for CATV network.
　With the coming of true broadband age, the needs of CATV providers are shifting from focus on downstream for browsing and downloading to bi-directional real time communication. CM-J20 supports DOCSIS2.0 and realizes symmetrical speed of 30Mbps high-speed throughput. Furthermore, as CM-J20 supports currently prevalent DOCSIS1.1/1.0 and adopts A-TDMA, S-CDMA, and TDMA for upstream access methods, a gradual migration to DOCSIS2.0 systems while using the existing network environment is possible.

■Comprehensive support for most advanced CATV network solution

Net One Systems is a forerunner in introducing CATV network product that supports DOCSIS2.0, a new technology with recently established specification. Within our technical center, we created a virtual CATV network systems comprised of entire DOCSIS environment encompassing everything from provider to end user systems. Through extensive performance verifications, we are able to offer solutions that support various range of network conditions while ensuring improved service quality. Based on our extensive experience with CMTS deployment, we are able to provide comprehensive services ranging from deployment to operation of highly reliable and scalable high speed CATV network.
