commences sales of Envivio's MPEG-4 compatible streaming products
with superior compression technology and interactive MPEG-4


As of May 30, Net One Systems Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Kazuo Sato, "Net One") will commence sales of MPEG-4 Streaming System ("Envivio") developed by Envivio, Inc. (Headquarters: California, USA, see Note.) Envivio is end-to-end systems that create MPEG-4 live video and VoD (video on demand) , and stream them over IP networks. MPEG-4 allows for separate encryption/synchronizing for each object of video/voice/text. In addition to easy and efficient authoring and compression, the product adds interactivity to contents.
Envivio is a leader in providing complete MPEG-4 standard compliant products and enables creation, authoring, delivery, and play of interactive content. Utilizing superior compression technology that provides video's optimum compression rate that corresponds to the network bandwidth and resolution of the user realizes high quality and stable distribution service to users. Also, in comparison to MPEG-2 delivery, the network load is drastically reduced.
Using Envivio's real time encode and distribution technology that supports a wide range of networks from narrowband to broadband, Envivio is able to deliver streaming contents within one-second delay. For digital right protection, the product also supports integration.
