@ April 22, 2002 Net One Systems Co., Ltd. Net One Systems (headquarters: Shinagawa-Ku, Tokyo: President & CEO: Kazuo Sato) have entered into an exclusive reseller contract for Japan territory with First Virtual Communications Inc. (hereinafter, FVC) (headquarters: California, USA) and will commence sales of FVC's rich media products from April 25, 2002. FVC proposes the "Rich Media Communication" solution, leveraging its expertise in the multi-endpoints, real-time, interactive conferencing system. Their IP based system not only supports H.323, but also accommodates to SIP (Session Initiation Protocol), thus making the product highly scalable and flexible and allowing easy billing and user management. The products accommodate conventional systems such as video conferencing and POTS, guaranteeing the continued usage of legacy data and applications. This highly flexible video conferencing service uses Web based GUI and caters to a variety of user needs. By setting the FVC's rich media products as the "killer apps," Net One Systems is going to offer new network solutions to deliver visual communications. Net One Systems is ready to provide with best solutions to a broad spectrum of demand for the product ranging from corporate usage, to video conferencing services by ISPs and carriers as well as educational usage and services for personal use. The product supports both current industry standard as well as next generation standards. In the future, the product will also support MPEG-4.TV conferencing system market is expected to expand on a global scale.
