Net One Systems Co., Ltd. signed a contract with SPACE Cyberlink Inc. (headquarters: Soul, Korea; CEO: Ester Lee) and attained an exclusive distributorship in Japan.

Net One will commence offering VDSL (high-speed digital communication technology using telephone lines,) Access products (modem and DSLAM,) and related solutions to Japanese companies including ISPs and carriers. One advantage of VDSL is that it enables voice and data transmission using existing telephone lines, and thereby significantly reduces wiring cost. VDSL is anticipated to serve as an effective alternative until fiber optics is fully laid out.

Based on its extensive experience with network deployment and advanced technical knowledge, Net One Systems will continue to search for venture companies in various parts of the world. Net One Systems will boldly offer products that match the market needs, and contribute to the advancement of networking technology.

Target Market:

There is a demand for VDSL access product and related solutions in Internet related companies as ISPs and telecommunications industries as well as in connecting various LAN sites of non-Internet related companies, universities, and research institutions that require increased connectivity while using existing copper telephone lines.

Product Summary

SPACE Cyberlink's VDSL Access product enables two-way transmission at maximum of 20Mbps. Products consist of DSLAM equipment, CL5000A, CL5000M, CL5000S and VDSL modem, CL2000.

Sales commencement date and List Price:
