Net One Systems commences sales of Sidewinder V5.0, a high-security firewall product with enhanced anti-web intrusion system

Net One announces the commencement of sales of Secure Computing's latest high-end firewall product, Sidewinder V5.0 for which Net One has the exclusive distributorship. The sales will commence in July and the price will be 680,000(yen) and over for 25 users. Sidewinder V5.0 is an application gateway firewall with prominent features including Type Enforcement (US Patented technology), an enforced access control technology, that allows access control comparable to those found in host computers, and Strike Back Function that automatically tracks down intruders. Extensive accumulation of knowledge regarding security technologies gained through collaborating in security projects with U.S. Department of Defense and other governmental organizations' top security operations allowed Secure Computing to successfully ensure high security without sacrificing performance.

Net One Systems plans to sell over 500 Sidewinder V5.0 firewalls annually to institutions including governmental agencies, financial institutions, large-scale enterprises, and ASP site and data center site that require high level security.
