Net One Systems Co., Ltd. will offer free distribution of communications performance verification software.

As a measure against Y2K Problem, Net One Systems Co., Ltd. will offer free distribution of communications performance verification software. Concurrently, it will provide special offers for Network products.

As a measure against Y2K Problem, Net One Systems will commence free offering of "Y2K Tool," a network communications performance verification and problem identification software, from December 1. The downloading of free Y2K Tool software (trial version) is unrestricted and may be accessed by both the Net One Systems' customers and the public at large.

Y2K Tool runs on Microsoft Windows (95/98/NT) machine that has completed the implemention of Y2K measures. Y2K Tool uses either TCP or UDP protocol and actually intiates communications between multiple PCs to identify irregularities with such relaying Network equipments as routers/switches. Generally, in order to perform these Y2K tests, technical knowledge of networking and set up procedures for each network equipments is necessary, but by enabling communications among clients (PCs), verification for equipment on the communications path may be performed effortlessly.

For Y2K Tool users who have network equipments that were predicted to demonstrate Y2K problems, Net One Systems will provide Y2K Compliant networking products at special offer prices as well as conduct status improvement of existing networks.
