Net One Systems Co., Ltd. will commence taking orders for "Skypanther Peer 100Mbps," a floor based optical wireless LAN product with a maximum transmission rate of 100Mbps.

From December 1999, Net One Systems Co., Ltd. will commence taking orders for "Skypanther Peer 100Mbps," a floor based optical wireless LAN product with a maximum transmission rate of 100Mbps.

The product's most noteworthy feature is its 100Mbps high speed communications capacity. By keeping pace with the increasing speed of floor based LAN, the product resolves network bottlenecks imposed by conventional low speed wireless connections and ensures creation of a flexilble floor based LAN. By using infrared rays which implement wide beam emission technology, and wide-directional angle, as well as indicator for optical axis adjuster, the installation has become even more easier than previous versions. Also, through transmitting by infrared rays, the product remains uninfluenced by noise and interference from electromagnetic waves, while the possibility of transmission leak remains low.
